Italian Cheese Bread

A BIG HIT!

2 1/2 c. Flour
1 t. Salt
1 t. Sugar
1 T. Yeast
1 c. Warm Water
1 T. Vegetable Oil

In a bowl, combine the first three ingredients. Combine water and yeast and set aside for 3-5 min. Add oil to liqui and then add to the flour mixture. Add additional flour if needed to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface; knead for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15-20 minutes. After rising, punch the dough down and place on a greased baking pan. (I roll mine out to be the size of my cookie sheet) Make sure it is even.

Brush the top of the dough with 1/4 c. prepared Italian salad dressing. Then, sprinkle the dough with:
1/4 t. Salt
1/4 t. Garlic Powder
1/4 t. Oregano
1/4 t. Thyme
Dash of pepper

Now, sprinkle with:
1 T. grated Parmesan Cheese (I use fresh parmesan, and I use about 1/4 cup)
1/2 C. shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minuntes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
